How It Works
The LS SERIES low input single stage, infra-red heaters are designed
for reduced mounting heights in industrial, commercial and residential
applications and offer standard control of a typical heated space.
The dependable RE-VERBER-RAY LS SERIES infra-red tube-type heaters
consist of three main components:
The Control Box/Burner - All the electrical components and main
burner are found in the control box. A regulated balance of air
and gas (with inputs from 25,000 to 50,000 BTU/h) are mixed in
the stainless steel burner and fan-forced into a three inch diameter,
16 gauge titanium alloyed aluminized steel combustion tube. Ignition
of this mixture is achieved through the use of a reliable globar
ignitor, easily monitored from the floor through a conveniently
placed sight glass.
The Radiant Emitter Tube - As the radiant emitter tube temperature
increases, maximum radiant efficiency is achieved and infra-red
rays are emitted. The efficient design of the technologically-advanced
burner ensures the ultimate in heat transfer along the entire
length for maximum radiant efficiency.
Engineered Reflector Design - Adjustable, polished aluminum, parabolic
reflectors are used to direct the invisible infra-red rays downward.
As a result, just like the sun, both people and objects absorb
the infra-red heat energy and re-radiate the heat to the surrounding
area.

APPLICATIONS
Select models of the RE-VERBER-RAY LS SERIES of natural gas and
propane heaters are design-certified by the Canadian Standards
Association (CSA) for use in residential applications in specific
areas that are adjacent or attached to actual living quarters.
The LS Series is
not to be installed indoors
in traditional living areas of a home. All residential heaters
must vent the products-of-combustion out-of-doors. Residential
installations may include:

· LS Series units may be single or dual vented, through a sidewall
or roof.
· Optional "U" and "L" configurations to meet virtually any design requirements.
· 16 gauge aluminized steel radiant emitter tube with corrosion-resistant high emissive black coating standard.
· 16 gauge titanium alloy aluminized steel combustion chamber with corrosion-resistant high emissive black coating standard.
